About this painting: This painting was the first of the 2022 collection. it was a pilot to see how the texturing and metallic paint will merge together. I was pleasantly surprised with the result. Placing a simple graphic type form on top of it and making the shape prominent with a blank created the beautiful effect I was looking for. This style holds an aspect of mystery and unites the richness of texture with the simplicity of graphics.
Why the title Serenity? I made this painting after quite a hectic period of physical changes which always come hand in hand with distress and anxiety. The creation of this painting gave me finally the time to relax and center my mind to a more balanced state.
